The organisers of the third International Real Estate Exhibition say the event has exceeded their expectations.
The event, at the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, Residence and Spa, ends tomorrow.
A total of 17 exhibitors are taking part in the event, organised by Kuwaiti-based Aana Group, who have brought the exhibition to Bahrain for the first time to coincide with the Formula One weekend.
'This is the first time we have taken this event outside Kuwait and in the first two days it has already been a major success,' said Aana Group director of logistics and international relations Dr Mohsen Dashti.
'We had a great turn-out on the first day on Monday, including a visit from Sir Frank Williams who runs the Formula One Williams team.
'Buyers who are turning up are mostly from Saudi Arabia and people from around the region who are Formula One fans.
'We avoid holding events in exhibition and conference centres and concentrate on bringing in VIP buyers.
'These range from individuals looking for a dream home and people looking to invest in property to make a long term commitment to secure their and their families future.'
He said property on offer ranged from villas and other residential property to commercial offerings and time share opportunities.
'We have companies here offering opportunities covering the region, Syria, Egypt, Turkey, Cyprus as well as the UK market,' he added.
'The reception we have had from the Bahraini people and Bahraini authorities has been excellent.
'The officials we have dealt with in Bahrain have been superb and we really appreciate there open door policy that has made our job so easy in setting up this event.'-TradeArabia News Service
