Giordano launches loyalty programme

Giordano is gearing up to launch its “World Without Strangers” -WWS loyalty program that benefits customers at most of its stores globally as part of it 15th anniversary celebrations this year.
Giordano already had a soft launch of the WWS program in the UAE in June last year and now has more than 30,000 members, said a top official.
“With the WWS membership, we want to thank and reward our loyal customers for their commitment and trust in Giordano through introducing a long-term program as well as interact with them in order to understand their needs and serve them best,” commented Ishwar Chugani, executive director for Giordano, Middle East and Africa.
"The WWS membership can be used globally and holds many benefits. The members will be initially entitled to special pricing on merchandise, in most Giordano stores globally and in addition to this they will earn points on each purchase."
"When members' cumulative purchase reaches Dh500 ($136), they are automatically upgraded to receive additional privileges on existing benefits. Customers can be part of this innovative program simply by making a minimum purchase of Dh300 from any of Giordano stores," he explained.
For special occasions such as birthdays, all members of the WWS will be entitled to 20 per cent discount on all purchases throughout the month, Ishwar added.-TradeArabia News Service
