The Emaar Malls Group has introduced an elite Guest Services Volunteer Programme for The Dubai Mall, whereby women volunteers can serve as goodwill ambassadors for the mall and their wages will be donated to charity.
The program is part of the Group's corporate social responsibility initiative and is open to all non-working female residents in Dubai.
The volunteers will support the Mall's Guest Services team and will be the social and informative hub for visitors, according to a statement.
The Dubai Mall will open its doors to the public on October 30.
“This program highlights our corporate social responsibility of meaningfully involving members of the community and supporting charity initiatives,” said Jim Badour, CEO, Emaar Malls Group.
“With this initiative we hope to provide a platform for non-working females in Dubai to give back to the community while expanding their social networks,” added Yousif Al Ali, general manager, The Dubai Mall.-TradeArabia News Service
