Giorgio Armani opens store in Bahrain

Giorgio Armani has opened the first store in Bahrain to showcase three different expressions of the Armani lifestyle.

The 180 sq m showroom at the Al Ali Mall includes: Armani/Casa, Armani/Fiori and Armani/Dolici.

The store is evidence of the ambitious expansion programme in the Middle East for the Armani/Casa brand, present in Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha, Beirut, Dubai and Kuwait City too, said a senior official.

Today Armani/Casa has 80 dedicated stores in 45 countries and further six new openings are planned by the end of 2009, said Pauline Jeakings, director, Armani/Casa, Bahrain.

The underlying concept behind the Armani/Casa Manama Bahrain store is to create a distinctive atmosphere through a combination of products that range from furniture and furnishing to accessories, décor and fabrics – for both day and night zones, she said.

The products are carefully selected for their compatibility in terms of shape, material and colour, and all displayed within a bright but softly lit environment.

The Armani/Fiori and Armani/Dolci areas exist in perfect harmony with the Armani/Casa environment.

Armani/Casa, the home furnishing collection by Giorgio Armani, was launched in the year 2000 at its first store Armani/Via Manzoni in Milan. Giorgio Armani’s objective was to bring his philosophy of style to the world of home interiors, and in so doing create the complete concept of an Armani lifestyle, the statement said.

The Armani/Casa collection is multi-faceted and offers a complete environment. There are items of furniture, tableware, decorative accessories, fabrics, ornaments, lighting, as well as original ideas for bathroom and kitchen. In addition, Armani/Casa also offers an exclusive interior design service in each store providing “made to measure” solutions for private clients and property developers.

Armani/Fiori was launched in the year 2000 at Armani/Via Manzoni, and since then other stores have been opened in Munchen, Hong Kong, Taipei and Kuwait City.

Armani/Fiori welcomes each season with a feast of sophisticated design ideas, displaying a perfect balance between the floral and the decorative, expressed in a carefully chosen array of shapes and sizes of flowers.
