Dubai, July 14, 2009
The Apparel Group, a leading retailer in the region with major operations in 14 countries, has announced the opening of Aeropostale's flagship store at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.
This is the company's second Aéropostale store in Dubai. The first one was launched in Oasis Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, said an Apparel Group official.
“It’s always nice to have as many options as one can have to shop from and we are offering our consumers the best with Aéropostale,” said Govind Bharwani, president of The Apparel Group.
'Seeing the need of being up-to-date with fashion, the Apparel group comes as a blessing to the fashion conscious youth of the city. For the unapprised, Aéropostale is the famous US retail brand for apparels and accessories and is now eyeing the young and trendy people of UAE.'
'Catering to the ever changing fashion needs of consumers in the age group of 11 to 25 years, it provides them with a focused selection of high- quality, active, comfort-oriented, fashion and fashion basic merchandise at compelling values,' he noted.
The store, which is strategically located at the shopping mall, is 4,272 sq ft, and will cater to the zing class of the society. On offer will be varied options to choose from.
'This is just the beginning. The brand's second flagship store is all set to open in Dubai Mall,' Bharwani disclosed.
'Another store in the making in about a month's time is in Arabian Centre, Mirdiff. We wish to take the association forward and make Aéropostale the one choicest pick amongst the youth to shop from,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
