Salam stores, the unique boutique department store concept in the Middle East, has opened its new store at the newly launched Mirdiff City Centre in Dubai.

Salam Stores opened its first outlet in Qatar in 1952 with the objective of bringing world-class luxury brands to the Middle East.

Today, the company is synonymous with the ultimate in luxury retail, with presence in Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Muscat, said a top official.

“In 1967 when the first Salam Stores opened in Dubai, it brought about a new and distinct retail environment to the residents of the emirate by bringing world-class luxury brands to the region. After more than four decades, Salam Stores has now further expanded their fashion bearing in Dubai with this brand new premium shopping destination,' said Ibrahim Bitar, regional general manager, Salam Studio & Stores.

'We want to be more accessible to our fashion conscious clientele by expanding our presence and keeping up with the growing demand for international brands,' he added.

Salam Stores, said Bitar, is known for bringing together a wide variety of haute couture and luxury lines under one roof, is all set to woo clients all over again with a new look and the best of international fashion.

The 1,024 sq m store features numerous fashion favourites including top designer labels for fashion and accessories, he added.

At the Mirdiff City Centre boutique the men can still get their designer fix from key brands housed at Salam like Karl Lagerfield, Armani Collezioni, Corneliani, Moschino, Armani Jeans, Diesel and more, Bitar remarked.
