LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator, is the number one provider of front loader washing machines in the UAE, with a 35 per cent market share.

With 2009 revenues of Dh88.2m ($24 million), LG’s front loaders are the top selling product within the category, compared to the nearest competitor’s market share of 12 per cent, a statement said.

LG is also the category leader in major markets including Saudi Arabia, US, Brazil, Singapore and Kazakhstan, it added.

“LG’s continuous success is the result of our ongoing effort to upgrade consumers’ lives with innovations that really improve quality of life,” said Kevin Cha, managing director of LG Electronics Levant.
