Manama, January 12, 2012
LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled ultra-large capacity 3-door refrigerator that comes with a unique door-in-door feature, as part of its expansion of its Studio Series line of premium appliances.
With a shallower depth, this 25 cu ft-capacity refrigerator stands flush with countertops for a sleek, seamless look and the largest amount of storage in its class. The door-in-door feature is a magnetically sealed section of one of the two refrigerator doors that provides quick access to the contents stored in the door bins.
Also added to the Studio Series line is LG’s built-in 42-inch side-by-side refrigerator, boasting the largest capacity of any refrigerator in its class at 26.5 cubic feet, and marking LG’s foray into the built-in refrigeration category.
This new refrigerator is the flag-ship of the LG Studio Series suite of high-end appliances that brings together refrigerators, ranges, wall ovens, warming drawers, cooktops, hoods, microwave ovens and dishwashers.
“More and more consumers have been seeking sophisticated designs and high performance features for their home appliances,” said Chris Jung, president of Home Appliances, LG Electronics USA. “Our new refrigerators meet these needs in terms of design and function as well as capacity.”
Both new models feature LG’s innovative Slim Space Plus icemaker which frees up valuable top-shelf space by moving the ice maker into the refrigerator door, giving LG’s door-in-door the most shelf space of any 3-door refrigerator.
Additionally, LG’s extra-tall ice and water dispenser can accommodate a wider variety of cups and jugs, due to its extra tall height of 9.2 inches.
LG’s built-in refrigerator also comes with adjustable shelving and sliding door baskets, while multiple pull-out drawers allow for the utmost in customized organization, enabling consumers to quickly locate exactly what they need, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
