LG Electronics has appointed D Y Kim as the president of LG Electronics, Gulf FZE.

Kim who has been with the company since 1989 suceeds Paik who has been president since 2009, a statement from the company said.

“Nowadays LG has the second market position in the LED and flat panel TV category within this market and is very well perceived by our customers. Our focus will be to continue working as we have been doing so far in order to meet their expectations and keeping their trust,” Kim said.  

Between 1999 and 2003 Kim worked in the LGEUS and Zenith, where he provided his expertise to the US market for 5 years. From 2003 and until 2007 he worked in the audio/video market and in 2008 took the role of the Digital Media Company outsourcing team.

Between 2009 and 2011 Kim worked in the CAR Marketing Team thus dealing with major global brands and driving strategies that would benefit LG, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
