Riffa Palms picks Alosra as anchor store
Manama, June 11, 2012
Riffa Palms, the premium retail complex at Riffa Views, has announced Alosra, a leading supermarket, as the anchor store with a high level of customer service to its residents.
Based in Riffa Palms, Alosra will offer a wide selection of fresh produce, baked goods, fresh meat, fish and poultry and household goods. The supermarket will also stock a lineup of ready-to-eat salads and sandwiches.
As part of its Think Local campaign, the store will also promote local products together with an eclectic mix of global brands.
"Having established a strong customer base in Saar, Amwaj and Durrat Al Bahrain, we are pleased to bring our fresh and friendly offering to the Riffa Views community", said Alosra general manager Jaffar Al Asfoor.
"The opening of the new Alosra store will be a valuable addition to this exclusive development, offering residents a one-stop-shop for all their grocery requirements. Alosra is well-equipped to cater to the needs of Riffa Views and neighbouring communities.
"With almost 60 per cent of our products being flown in from overseas, we ensure that whatever country customers come from, they are never too far away from home," Al Asfoor said.
"We are pleased that Alosra, which has over two decades of successful operations in the Middle East, will offer our residents the essential daily products they need with the convenience of being at their doorstep," said Riffa Views managing director Yasser Abulrahman Al Raee.
"Alosra is well-known for the quality and freshness of their food and having them at Riffa Palms sets the high standard of offerings that will be available at this premium retail complex."
Construction of Riffa Palms is well underway with the outer shell of the building expected to be completed by the end of August and interior work to begin shortly thereafter.-TradeArabia News Service
