Dubai, June 20, 2012

Sony Mobile Communications (Sony Mobile) has announced two new Xperia smartphones - Xperia miro and Xperia tipo - dual that are set for global release in Q3 2012.

Xperia miro is a slim and stylish smartphone available in a range of colours with deep integration of Facebook throughout contacts, photo gallery and music player, plus Sony’s xLOUD audio technology for crisp and loud sound, a statement from the company said.

Users are alerted to new incoming messages and social updates with colourful illuminations, and it also comes with a front-facing camera.

Xperia tipo dual is designed to offer an “easy-to-use interface enabling” consumers “to get the most” from their smartphones – whether browsing the web, sharing pictures or downloading apps.

The dual SIM cards are constantly on standby mode and ongoing communication can be received anytime.

Spyridon Gousetis, director of marketing at Sony Mobile Communications, Middle East and Africa, said: “Consumers today are looking for more than just experiences that combine entertainment and functionality. Some might seek an integrated social media and seamless music experience that is offered by Xperia miro while those migrating from a feature phone and looking for smartphone benefits will find an ideal match in the Xperia tipo dual.” – TradeArabia News Service
