Aaron Shum boosts Gemtique collection
Dubai, July 5, 2012
Leading jewellery manufacturer, Aaron Shum Jewellery, has unveiled two new Gemtique collections – Flora and Fauna – which is a kaleidoscopic combination of Swarovski genuine gemstones and a tasteful sprinkling of diamonds.
The collection uses 925 sterling silver for the first time in addition to small amounts of 18k gold to present a luxurious, fine jewellery line, a statement from Aaron said.
Insects and animals are emblems in the Fauna collection which combines verdant green peridots with soft violet hues of amethysts to instantly recall the beauty of a forest, the statement said. Little birds flutter among branches or perch on gnarled branches in elaborately designed, statement pendants and rings.
The Flora collection on the other hand brings to life the beauty of the floral kingdom through its strikingly attractive and unusual colour combinations featuring passion topaz in various colours, amethysts, peridots, citrines and garnets, unveiling jewels for any occasion and attire, it said.
Aaron Shum, president of the group, said: “Gemtique’s new Fauna and Flora collections are inspired by the rich, timeless, beauty and bounty of nature. As a jewel is a very personal item which over the years gains in sentimental value, their unique craftsmanship and blend of precious materials sets them apart as must-have pieces of the season which can enhance any mood or attire.”
