Eurostar launches ePad Gamer tablet

Eurostar has yet again ventured down the path of ‘firsts’ in the tablet industry with the launch of the ePad Gamer, a unique tablet in the shape of a handheld gaming console which offers over 1,500 pre-loaded games.
With the full functionality of a regular tablet using a capacitive touch screen supported by a 5 megapixel dual camera, the ePad Gamer allows users to conveniently click and share their photos onto social networks, a statement from the company said.
With the variety of Android pre-loaded games, users will find themselves immersed in the latest games such as Angry Birds offering limitless entertainment. Those especially fond of the classics such as Mario and Contra will already have access to a vast number of such games using the pre-installed gaming console emulators which allow users to relive their favorite childhood memories, the statement said.
The frame of the tablet resembles a handheld gaming console and includes all the usual buttons and toggles which optimise the gaming experience. The ePad Gamer also has great versatility as it can perform as a tablet in all capacities.
It includes a front and back camera especially useful for video calls using Skype. Using the 5 megapixel dual camera, photography enthusiasts can capture images and use apps such as Instagram to transform their work before sharing it on social media channels, it said.

It is powered by the latest 4.0 version of the Android Ice Cream operating system, highly sensitive touch screen and a range of games and applications designed to enhance user experiences.
The tablet has a processer speed of 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM and up to 32 GB memory that allows users to optimise app use and watch crystal clear video in high definition panels. The tablet is further enabled with wifi – sensitivity and good battery back-up.
The usual features are also present with pre-loaded applications that include Google Talk, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Gmail, dictionary, Encyclopaedia and games.
