Epson to display latest printers at SGI Mideast

Dubai, January 5, 2014

Epson will showcase its latest range of printers from the SureColor series at the 17th annual Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) Middle East.

The leading signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries event will run from January 7 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The new SC-F7000 dye sublimation printer and the company’s first direct-to-garment t-shirt printer, SC-F2000, will be the highlight of the Epson’s stand, said a statement.

The SC-F7000 is the first printer in its category to have each component designed and manufactured by one company to ensure quality, performance and reliability for maximum productivity and lower total cost of ownership.

The 64-inch printer can be used for quality soft signage, sportswear, apparel, accessories, customised promotional items, and decorated gadgets.

The SC-F2000, on the other hand, is a high performing printer with a low maintenance and running cost which is perfect for small and medium print businesses, said the statement.

Epson will also display the L800 photo printer from its Ink Tank Systems range. It is an ultra-high-capacity printer with an integrated ink tank, equipped with Epson’s Micro Piezo printhead technology, it said.

Shihab Zubair, business development manager, Epson Middle East, said: “We will showcase Epson’s top imaging solutions, including the latest such as the SC-F7000, the SC-F2000, and the SC-S70610 to our target audience. The companies in the Middle East have shown a keen interest in advanced printing technology and we ensure that our latest products and solutions are at par with regional business requirements.” - TradeArabia News Service
