Bin Hindi unveils new 'Twenty20' sales plan

Bin Hindi Informatics (BHI), the authorised distributor for Samsung mobiles, laptops, printers, copiers, has launched a new motivator concept to drive sales.

Dubbed the Bin Hindi Premier League, it is a corporate game based on target versus achievement for the brand's showrooms.

The idea is inspired by the Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 cricket championship league in India, said a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Every BHI showroom is a team competing in the league and every team can have a name of their choice. Each team has a captain and he will be responsible to guide his team throughout the competition.

Performance is tracked on a daily basis as to who stands where and to help identify areas of improvement.

Every month will be a season, with the winning team for a month given a rolling trophy on the third of the next month.

Each member of the winning team will get gift vouchers, certificate, individual trophy as well as a dinner with the company's director and general manager.

There is also a "Player of the season award" given to one player every month, said the report.

The selection process is based on some specified criteria such as achieving 90 per cent of the target, 100 per cent attendance during the "season" and compliance with the "grooming SOP".-TradeArabia News Service
