AdvanTag to launch mobile app in Dubai

AdvanTag, a mass loyalty platform founded by Adam El Daba and Mo Shahin in 2012, is set to launch its mobile app on March 15 in Dubai.
The app, focusing on customer loyalty programmes, combines customer loyalty with digital and social marketing, said a statement.
It was developed to help independent merchants with limited marketing budget compete against retail giants within their industry.
AdvanTag rewards customers for their activities in participating store, by enabling brick and mortar businesses to access and analyse their live campaigns, while customers enjoy easy-to-us discounts and rewards with a transparent loyalty system, said the statement.
Businesses signed up with AdvanTag benefit from customer retention, increased brand awareness consequently leading to an increase in profit, it said.
On downloading the app, the user will have full access to deals throughout Dubai under different lifestyle categories. The users can select their desired deal and arrive at the location, where they will be handed an AdvanTag QR-Code slip.
By pressing “Check-In” and scanning the unique QR-Code, instant discounts are rewarded to the customer and the more often a customer visits that location the greater the rewards are.
All their experiences can be shared across the most popular social media networks.
"We provide the tools for brick-and-mortar shops to compete with the big players; whether in marketing or owning a loyalty solution and build true loyal customers. We want to clearly show the rewards for both customers and business," said El Daba.
"As good as our features of marketing and loyalty are, one critical benefit is the data analysis we provide to merchants, which nowadays many of them don't have the technology or the capability in-house to monitor or gather that data"
