Dubai, March 20, 2014
Esmod Dubai, a French fashion institute, is set to open its second fashion designers incubator in Sunset Mall in Dubai on April 8.
The institute aims to contribute to the development of the fashion industry in the Middle East through its highest professional fashion education training standards, said a statement.
The launch is its non-profit corporate social responsibility initiative to support the fashion brand development and business startups of its graduates.
The incubator platform comprises a store showcasing selected exclusive collections such as garments, accessories, jewels and a gallery space for regular fashion related exhibitions.
The conceptual interior of the store includes: A red carpet, white brick walls, hanging racks and black metal shelves with brushed edges.
Tamara Hostal, founder and CEO of Esmod Dubai, said: “Esmod Dubai’s aim remains to develop the fashion industry in the Middle East, therefore training our students is our concern but supporting them is a must.”
The store will house the spring/summer collection from brands such as Kourosh Fashion, Canella Hostal Couture, Arwa Alammari, Kashish Dang, Gema Blanco, Tram and Renuka Ghandi.
The registrations for aspiring fashion designers to the three-year ‘Fashion Design and Pattern Making Program’ starting next in September are open, said Hostal.
The institute also features other short courses and workshops all year, with the ‘Fashion Design Workshop’ starting in April, she added. - TradeArabia News Service
