Abu Dhabi’s giant mall opens in Nov

Abu Dhabi, March 30, 2014

Abu Dhabi’s largest shopping mall, which boasts of an area of 235,000 sq m and includes 300 shops, is set to open at Yas Island in November, said a report.

The Yas shopping mall will have a giant parking area that can house 10,000 cars. The new facility is expected to attract a large number of tourists and visitors to the island, reported the Khaleej Times, citing a senior official.

“It is the largest shopping mall in Abu Dhabi and the second by area in the UAE… given its location and proximity to Ferrari World, it will be one of the most attractive destinations to visitors,” remarked Clive Dwyer, the director, Destination Management on Yas.

"The mall has nearly 57 restaurants and is continuing its efforts to attract more guests and become one of the most attractive tourism destinations in the region," he added.
