Amaka unveils big ME expansion plans

Amaka Global Consultants, a Paris-based business advisory firm, has announced aggressive expansion plans across the Middle East region through its fast-fashion franchising.

Amaka said it has carved a niche in the fast fashion industry and now aims to become the world’s best fashion retailer by unveiling the latest trends for women, men and kids.

The company has already earmarked $100 million towards the marketing budget to reinforce its leadership, said a top official.

"Our mission at Amaka Global is to be the best fashion retailer in the world, and offer the best fast fashion clothing worldwide for consumers who love trendy affordable luxury," said Nnaka Promise Uzoamaka, the chairman and director general of Amaka Global.

"Amaka Global is a retail clothing store specializing in unique fast fashion and accessories and we encourage customers to be experimental with new clothing styles and look beyond the available brands. Our A-list celebrities will be on ground as part of the activation program to reinforce our unique trends," he stated, while speaking at a special media event held yesterday at the Burj Al Arab.

The company, he said, offers unmatched market reach and industry expertise, and is now ready to tap into latest trends in the world of fast fashion, in line with consumers’ preferences than what the existing top brands offer.

A design team, with professionals from across the globe, will be based in Dubai to get a pulse of consumer trends in fast fashion, revealed Promise Uzoamaka.

The company has named Albert Zambrotta as the head of communications, while Khader Mallah will be the new marketing manager.

The company’s plans to go aggressive comes amidst market research that shows that the market of fast fashion is set to grow exponentially in the near future, as consumers are eyeing latest trends and designs that what the existing fast fashion brands offer.

"Over 1,000 fast fashion clothing franchisees from around the world have shown interest in the Amaka Global brand but we are taking our time to choose the right partners," said the official.
