Grohe on sustained growth with $1.39bn in sales

BEIRUT, December 22, 2014

Grohe Group, a leading provider of sanitary fittings, has generated sales of €1.13 billion ($1.39 billion) in the first nine months of the year, as compared €1.075 billion in the same period last year.

The sales growth was no less than eight per cent, on a constant exchange rate basis, said a statement.

The operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBTIDA) was normalised at €210 million, versus €204 million a year earlier, leading the margin around 19 per cent, it said.

The sales in Europe, which makes up about half of total sales, grew overall by five per cent, which Asia sales grew seven per cent, Middle East and Africa by six per cent and in America by nine per cent.

The group’s recent business developments include the closing of the acquisition together with Lixil Corporation of a 51 per cent stake in the newly launched Grohe Dawn Watertech Holdings in November. - TradeArabia News Service
