HTC launches new Desire dual sim smartphone

DUBAI, June 30, 2015

HTC Corporation, a leader in mobile innovation and design, has launched the new HTC Desire 626G + Dual SIM, the successor to the HTC Desire 620G Dual SIM, in the UAE.

The new, affordable smartphone brings a bold flash of colour to the HTC Desire range and showcases a playful, curved design that moulds to your hand, reflecting the very best of HTC’s iconic design language, said a statement.

Neeraj Seth, head of marketing, HTC Middle East and Africa, said: “Our new HTC Desire 626G+ Dual SIM is packed with advanced features, yet it sits in our mid-range Desire smartphone collection, enabling us to deliver the very best in terms of design, performance and user experience, while providing added value to our customers.”

The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 and features HTC Sense, which will further enhance the Android experience. Powered by an OctoCore 1.7GHz processor, the HTC Desire 626G+ Dual SIM will deliver a smooth and reliable experience with the capability to allow you to effortlessly stream films, run your apps, play your favourite games or flick through your latest photos, which all come to life on the vibrant five-inch HD LCD screen.

It features a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front camera, with which photos and selfies can be taken from any angle and then be easily edited using the HTC Eye Experience, for instant effects and built-in enhancements.

New or old photos can also be edited and turned into short, creative three-second HD videos using Zoe, the app that allows one to effortlessly mix and share photos, as well as group up to 20 photos and automatically turn them into a full-motion photo gallery.

The new device also features the ability to capture high-quality 1080p video using either the front or rear facing cameras, which can be turned into mini movies that can be shared with friends and family using the HTC Video Highlights feature.

With a range of storage options, from 8GB internal memory to a MicroSD slot that supports up to 32GB additional storage, photos and videos can be safely saved on the smartphone to be viewed and shared. - TradeArabia News Service
