Dubai’s Ramadan Night Market to open on July 2

DUBAI, July 1, 2015

The Ramadan Night Market in Dubai is set to open from July 2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The 10-day free-entry consumer fair will feature varied retail attractions, thrilling activities and culinary delights, said a statement.

Visitors can enjoy fun-filled family time with engaging games, chances to win exciting prizes and to avail unique deals, it said.

The food pavilion this year will boast more than 50 food stalls and outlets of variety cuisines from across the world. Foodies will be spoilt for choice as all their favourite foods line beside each other.

Catering to various gastronomic tastes, the food pavilion will offer everything from Arabic to Indian to Chinese to regular fast food and crepes. For desserts, visitors can choose from scrumptious Italian and Korean ice creams, besides kulfi falooda among other sweet pleasures.

Some of the food outlets at the fair include Cutting Chai, Bikanerwala, YallaMomos, Cha Cha Chai, Costa Coffee, Kulfilicious Kaffe, Fruit Valley, The Kebab Shop, Barbeque Bites, Skinjam Ice Cream- Gelato Divino, Chinese Palace, Laqmouche Restaurant, Mini Pancakes, Atayeb, Haji Ali, Brooklyn Bothers and Kaek Kaeeek.

Expecting to draw in over 100,000 visitors, Ramadan Night Market will be hosting more than 300 retail outlets, with offers available on garments, branded perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery, linen, handicrafts, gift items, health and beauty products, furniture, home appliances and electronic gadgets, toys, and stationary.

The shopping extravaganza will serve as an apt platform to stock up for Eid particularly and for the rest of the year generally with discounts of up to 70 per cent.

The visitors can benefit from discounts on tourism and travel packages as well, making great savings on their summer/Eid vacations.

In addition to the offers from the retailers, organisers have planned special attractions for this year’s festival which include a variety of street performances as well as entertaining acts such as Mirror Man, cartoon characters and living statues.
