Panasonic showcases wireless video intercom

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) is showcasing its latest version of wireless video intercom system expandable up to 7 monitors at the Gitex Technology Week, a major ICT show concluding today (October 20) in Dubai, UAE.

Yasuo Yamasaki, director, System Solutions and Communications Division, PMMAF said: “Home security remains a priority among regional consumers, who are fast adopting smart home technologies. The future of intercoms should be, as with many of the facilities in our house, integrated and connected with each other and the Internet. Our Video Intercom Systems are specially designed for creating a connected, comfortable, and safe home.”

The IP Video Intercom System is the latest product that Panasonic has introduced within the intercom category. It is a full IP system with a lobby station, door station and room monitor that supports PoE (802.3af).

Suitable for large apartment systems it can support up to 2,000 devices with a control box and up to 200 devices without a control box.  Additional features include email notifications, voice mails, visitor recording, easy installation and convenient maintenance.

Panasonic’s Wireless Video Intercom System VL-SWD272 has many unique features which include picture recording, night vision, and voice changer options. The system can record up to 50 visitors with the capability to record eight still images per visitor, which can be displayed frame by frame, also, the night vision captures images in colour at night.  These features ensure that you see every person visiting your home.

Panasonic’s range of video intercom series includes premium wireless model VL-SWD501, smartphone connect model VL-SVN511, standard VL-SWD272 and wired model VL-SF70. – TradeArabia News Service
