Huawei has announced the availability in the UAE of its Mate 9 mobile following its launch in in Munich, Germany earlier this month.

The Mate 9 is a beautifully-designed and powerful mobile that boasts impressive performance features and comes with a three-month guarantee service offer at select retailers across the country, said the company.
 
In addition to the 60 per cent increase in battery life, the Huawei Mate 9 features breakthrough, safe SuperCharge technology that delivers a full day’s charge in 20 minutes. A 4000mAh high-density battery coupled with the Mate 9’s advanced power saving technology increases battery life to provide over two days of uninterrupted performance, it said.  
 
With the introduction of EMUI 5.0, the HUAWEI Mate 9 reimagines the native Android operating system using Linux to improve the experience, aesthetics and functionality. The device works 35 per cent faster than other Androids on the market and features the Kirin 960 chipset, the world’s highest performing smartphone processor.
 
The Mate 9 has its signature dual-lens rear cameras co-engineered with Leica Camera AG. The 12-megapixel RGB and 20-megapixel monochrome lenses work collectively to produce stunning photographs and videos.
 
To ensure protection throughout use of the Mate 9, Huawei is offering a one year standard warranty, one time free screen replacement and one time free phone replacement should there be any manufacturing issues with the device within first three months of purchase. To personalise and enhance the service proposition, Huawei will also offer free engraving and pick-up and delivery of the device should users require any repairs or maintenance, the company said.
 
The Mate 9 is now available starting from Dh2299 in Champagne Gold and Mocha Brown in 64GB at select retails outlets across the UAE including Axiom, Emax, Lulu Hypermarket,
