Nakheel floats tenders for Dubai mixed-use complex

DUBAI, March 22, 2017

Nakheel, a leading UAE-based developer, has issued a tender for the construction of a mixed-use complex at its shopping, residential and leisure destination Dragon City in Dubai.

The mixed-use complex will come up south-west of the existing Dragon Mart over a 230,000-sq-m area within the big retail hub, said a statement from Nakheel.

The scope of work includes the construction of a shopping mall on two levels with four parking levels for 1,350 cars; a podium roof level with a gymnasium, swimming pool and restaurant as well as two residential towers of 32 floors each, featuring 1,140 apartments, it stated.

Dragon City will be a spectacular 11-million-sq-ft shopping, residential and leisure destination in Dubai. It currently features Dragon Mart, Dragon Mart 2 and a three-star Ibis Styles hotel.

The tender documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Dh50,000 ($13,609), said Nakheel in its statement. The last date for submission of bids is May 16, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
