Samsung launches Galaxy A70 smartphone

Samsung Gulf Electronics has launched its latest smartphone in the popular Galaxy A range - the A70.

Built with Samsung’s latest innovations and upgraded essential features, the Galaxy A70 showcases a stylish design, large infinity display, enhanced triple camera, powerful battery and seamless connectivity, said a statement from the company.

Featuring a 6.7” Infinity-U display along with the biggest screen in the Galaxy A portfolio to date, the smartphone provides a more immersive edge-to-edge experience to everyday activities, it said.

The model’s enhanced triple camera comes with a 32MP super high-resolution front and rear lens, which takes bright sharp shots that never sacrifice on image quality, it added.

Tarek Sabbagh, head of IT and Mobile (IM) division at Samsung Electronics Gulf, said: “No matter who our users are, they want their interactions to feel the same as face-to-face conversations – they want to share their experiences as they happen and they want to discover more as life unfolds.”

“We are proud to unveil the new model which is designed for the way we communicate in the ‘Era of Live’. The series is designed for digital natives who want to capture, connect and share life as it happens,” he added.

The model comes with a powerful 4,500 mAH battery, giving you the freedom and convenience to share, stream and play all day. With Super-Fast Charging at 25W, you can be back in the action faster when you need a battery boost.

Paired with Samsung Pass, you can sign into websites and apps by using biometric authentication as an easier and more secure way of logging-in. This ease and convenience is enabled by Samsung Knox, Samsung’s defence-grade security platform designed to protect from chipset to software.

The smartphone features the One UI platform to encourage productivity and focus. Designed to improve the Samsung Galaxy’s user experience, One UI makes interactions enables convenient and smarter interaction including one handed navigation, making interactions easier by bringing the controls within one-handed reach.

The Galaxy A70 is available at a price of Dh1,499 ($408.10), and comes in three distinctive colours of orange, white and black, which has a stylish prism effect that reveals stunning gradient colours depending on light direction and reflections.

Samsung recently also announced the new Galaxy A50 and A30 that offer improvements to the essential device features that matter most, including offering an immersive viewing experience, longer lasting performance and a top camera, said the statement.

With the new phones consumers can seamlessly experience the Galaxy ecosystem using key services such as Samsung Health, Bixby, and more, it said.

The models offer premium camera features; a long-lasting, fast-charging battery; and Infinity-U display.

The Galaxy A50 allows consumers to capture and share photos in a revolutionary way with its triple camera, designed to accurately replicate human eyesight.

The Galaxy A30 is for consumers that are on-the-go all the time. It comes equipped with a powerful 4,000mAh, fast charging battery. An edge-to-edge 6.4” Super Amoled Infinity-U display which offers an immersive experience, ideal for gaming, watching videos, multi-tasking and browsing.

The Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A30 smartphones are being sold at the price of Dh1,149 ($312.81) and Dh849 ($231.14), respectively.
