Key posting at Sabre

Manama, July 23, 2007

Sabre Travel Network Middle East has announced the appointment of Raed Al Nasa’a as regional human resources manager.

Al Nasa’a brings extensive HR experience to the company as part of Sabre’s drive to further strengthen strategic direction by assuring a robust HR programme.

Sabre’s increasing levels of business necessitates an HR manager who can develop and co-ordinate effective human resource planning including recruitment and retention structures, training programmes, industry benchmarked pay and reward schemes, and a structured career progression ladder.

Al Nasa’a joins a management team overseeing the company’s operations in 11 countries across the Mena region.

His career experience places him in a strong position to spearhead corporate HR planning and policy.

Daniel Naoumovitch, chief executive officer of Sabre Travel Network Middle East, said:

“We are confident that Al Nasa’a will make an immediate and valuable contribution to all aspects of our HR strategy.

“One of Sabre’s strengths is our highly-trained and expert workforce who has the ability to offer our customers the most technical advice, and Mr Al Nasa’a is charged with further strengthening and expanding our human resources.

“He and his team will ensure the company provides timely and necessary access to expertise for our customers across all of our products and systems.”

Al Nasa’a joins Sabre with a strong HR background gained while working in Jordan and Bahrain.

His most recent assignment was to head up HR at Universal Enterprises, part of the Al Mannai Group.
