Al Sahra Desert Resort in Dubai is preparing to host a glamorous, spectacular party on New Year’s Eve.
With most hotel events sold out to in-house guests due to mandatory New Year supplements, Dubai residents now have the opportunity to be at the extravaganza of the year and enjoy a high-class evening of fine dining and live entertainment by the Gipsy Kings, said an official spokesman.
This exclusive event is organised by Destinations of the World in collaboration with Al Sahra Desert Resort and includes a luxurious five-star buffet dinner - catered for by the Hyatt Regency Hotel , unlimited premium beverages including champagne, exquisite firework display and complimentary transport to and from the venue within Dubai.
The venue for this momentous moment will be the luxurious, atmospheric Al Sahra Desert Resort and Amphitheatre, where one can expect uninterrupted spectacular entertainment in the middle of the desert, imbued with an innate sense of style.
Two marquees have also been specially constructed at the venue to seat 2,600 people for fine dining and a dance floor built in the Amphitheathre to accommodate 1,000 party revellers.
Guests will be able to enjoy a high style of cuisine at this gala event and the proceedings will provide the residents of Dubai with an event to remember, complete with exclusive seating and the world-famous Gipsy Kings as its headline act.
Best known for their timeless music and international hit ‘Bamboleo’, the world famous Gipsy Kings fuse the sounds of flamenco, Latin and American Jazz flavours, with a distinctive musical style that includes rock and Arabic sounds.
Following the live entertainment, there will be a spectacular fireworks display for guests to celebrate the New Year and 2008 festivities in style.
Renowned Radio Two DJ Jeff Price will continue to keep guests enthralled into the early hours of the morning, while their every need will be taken care of at this glitzy extravaganza.
