ADAC honours student ambassadors
Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Airports Company recently held a ceremony to honor its “Student Ambassadors” – the 85 young Emiratis who had been employed at Abu Dhabi International Airport to welcome, greet and assist passengers over the summer months.

Into its second successful year, the Student Ambassador Programme continued to be received well by passengers as well as the students themselves, who benefited from the experience of developing interpersonal skills, confidence and dealing with enquiries from passengers from many different cultures traveling through the airport, said an official.

The full programme lasted three months with the ambassadors being deployed across the airport in a variety of roles.

“The Student Ambassador Programme is a great way for students to gain invaluable work experience in the dynamic business environment that an airport provides. Customer Service is a priority for ADAC at its airports and the students were able to help deliver on our commitment to the airport users to make it easy to travel,” said Khalifa Al Mazrouei, chairman and managing Director of ADAC.-TradeArabia News Service
