Travelport GDS, a leading global distribution system (GDS) provider, has tied up with Travel Point, for distribution of Galileo GDS in Oman from January next year, a report said.

Travelport had recently announced a multi-million dollar investment in the Gulf, to launch a new, direct support network for travel agents in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt and redefine distributor network in Oman and other countries, according to the Gulf News report.
