United Airlines to start Dubai-US non-stop service
Dubai

United Airlines is launching a non-stop Dubai-Washington service from October 27.

The new service  will fly to Washington Dulles, one of United’s five US hubs.

From Washington, customers can then fly onto over 80 destinations across the US, Canada and the Caribbean including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco, said a statement.

United’s Washington hub offers over 200 daily flights to destinations across the US  It is also a key point for many United international flights serving the airport from destinations around the world.

“This new route further strengthens our presence in the Middle East and allows us to take advantage of the growing commerce between the region and the United States,” said Marcel Fuchs, United’s managing director Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
“Additionally, this flight adds to our international route network, creating new revenue opportunities and provides customers with a daily service they can rely on.”

With United’s first ever flight to Dubai this month, United’s Washington Dulles hub now will serve 24 international destinations, including five that began operating in the past two years: Beijing, Kuwait, Rio de Janeiro, Rome and Tokyo.-TradeArabia News Service
