Delta Air Lines will begin non-stop daily flights to Atlanta from Dubai. It will also start a non-stop service to Atlanta from Kuwait City from November 8, four times a week, a report said.
'In the past 12 months we have enjoyed load factors on the Dubai to Atlanta service in the mid to high 80 per cent range. We are very pleased with the success of this flight and are confident we can sustain its performance with a daily service,' Manoj Kuriakose, commercial manager Middle East, Delta Air Lines, was quoted as saying in the Gulf News report.
There has been a rise in demand for US destinations including Houston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando and Tampa. The airline expects these cities to witness similar demand from Kuwait City passengers too.
Delta had begun a four times a week nonstop flight between Amman and New York's JFK four months ago.
