Etihad launches Russia holidays

Abu Dhabi, October 28, 2008

Etihad Holidays will launch its first holidays to Russia in its latest promotion which also includes breaks at more than 50 hotels in 12 major cities around the world.

Holidays to Moscow start from December 1, when Etihad launches its first flight to the Russian capital, and are available from as little as Dh2,980 per person including flights and three nights’ accommodation, according to a statement.

Extensions to St Petersburg are also available from Dh3,340 for two nights and include rail tickets from Moscow for the nine hour scenic journey.

Furthermore, every customer who books and pays for one of the holidays before October 31, will be entered into a draw to win the cost of their holiday back, including taxes and charges.

'Etihad Airways continues to launch flights to new destinations around the world which allows us to widen the variety of holidays we offer. This latest promotion is particularly exciting as it includes for the first time Moscow,' stated Tony Gauci, head of Etihad Holidays.

“It also offers a wide choice of summer and winter destinations and is open until the end of March 2009, therefore providing customers with plenty of opportunities to plan their breaks around work and school holidays.”

The new promotion also includes breaks to Geneva, New York, Muscat and Sydney in a line-up designed to cater for all tastes and budgets. Also available are holidays to Johannesburg and Sun City in South Africa and the southern German city of Munich.

A first for Etihad Holidays customers is the chance to book breaks to London and watch Chelsea Football Club in action in the Barclays Premier League.-TradeArabia News Service
