Jordan Dubai holds fun day for school

Amman, April 3, 2010

Jordan Dubai Properties (JDP), the investment arm of Jordan Dubai Capital in Jordan's real estate and tourism sectors, held a fun and tree-planting event for the students of a local school as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The events were for the students of the Amenah Bint Wahab School in the area of Sakeb in Dibbeen through Munya, which is currently managing the Dibbeen tourism project.

JD Properties’ employees joined the event with 329 students from the school in the areas surrounding the school recently on the anniversary of the Al-Karama Battle.

“We strive through our socially responsible initiatives to positively interact and connect with different segments within the Jordanian society, especially children,” said Nidal Khawaja, general manager of JD Properties’ Dibbeen Tourism Project.

“During this Fun Day event, we hoped to add a sense of entertainment and enjoyment, enhance the level of participation amongst the students, and increase the students’ sense of belonging towards their country and their area through the tree planting activity,” he added.

“We are proud to be amongst the national institutions participating in the royal Madrasati Initiative and we are committed to its objectives, which is why we have forged a number of partnerships with local institutions,” Khawaja concluded.
