Rosewood named top Saudi hotel
Jeddah, May 26, 2010
Jeddah-based Rosewood Corniche has been named Saudi Arabia’s leading business hotel for the second year by the World Travel Awards (WTA), which are voted by travel professionals in the hospitality industry around the world.
Designed for both business and leisure travellers, Rosewood Corniche is ideally positioned on Jeddah’s Corniche, one of the city’s most impressive districts. The corniche runs parallel to the Red Sea for over 20 miles and provides convenient access to the city’s business and leisure areas.
As the premier hotel in Jeddah, Rosewood Corniche redefines modern elegance and offers unparalleled personal service and world-class amenities, including 24-hour butler service for each of the 127 guest rooms and suites.
Adding to the WTA awards for Saudi Arabia’s leading hotel is the trophy for Saudi Arabia’s leading business hotel, awarded to the Red Sea’s premier luxury property following its commitment to building relationships with the local business community and providing personalised services to business people visiting the Kingdom.
The awards come after Qatar Airways announced that Rosewood Corniche is now its preferred hotel for all travellers to Jeddah, said the hotel, which is in its third year of operation.
Rounding off the good news for Jeddah’s landmark hotel, after a thorough two-year study, it is among a handful of Jeddah hotels to be awarded official five-star status by the Saudi Commission of Tourism and Antiquities.
“We have had a tremendous start to 2010 with the recognition from the SCTA that our personalised services and unique way of looking after our guests is in line with five-star standards around the world,” said Hans-Peter Lietzke, managing director of Rosewood Corniche.
"We are looking forward to developing our partnership with Qatar Airways and looking after their travellers when they arrive in Jeddah," he noted.
"Retaining Saudi Arabia’s 'Leading Hotel World Travel Award' is a great reward to the Rosewood Corniche family and we are especially pleased to win Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business Hotel accolade," Lietzke added.-TradeArabia News Service
