Children treated to dolphin show

Dubai, July 29, 2010

Over 100 children with special needs and their families visited Dubai Dolphinarium to watch live dolphin and seal shows as part of Special Needs Day at the facility.

The children, from the Special Families Support Group (SFS) and the Dubai Club for Special Sports, were entertained by a performance of the Dolphinarium’s beloved aquatic mammals, the dolphins and seals, and their human counterparts – skilled air acrobats from Ukraine.

“SFS was thrilled to see the Dolphin and Seal Show at Dubai Dolphinarium,” said Gulshan Kavarana, founder of SFS. “The staff made everyone feel very welcome, and the kids were glued to the show.”

“Our children don’t have too many wants, all they wish for is to feel loved, respected and accepted for who they are. Thank you for organizing such an awesome day for all of us at SFS.”

The Special Needs Day is part of an effort by Dubai Dolphinarium to contribute to the local community, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
