Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City (ZSC) has announced two new partnerships with Haddins Fitness and Professional Sports Service (PSS-Emirates).

Haddins at ZSC will offer an innovative approach to sports, exercise and well-being, with highly qualified instructors providing over 25 tailored classes and gym facilities incorporating unique equipment. Haddins' approach is built upon scientifically proven techniques making sure activities are enjoyable, said a spokesperson.

Haddins will also be implementing ZSC’s vision for a youth fitness program - including an after school and holiday fitness initiative and children’s sports academies.

The new PSS-Emirates Tennis Academy at ZSC will establish the most advanced tennis coaching facility in the UAE with certified coaches providing international-standard training at the ATP-standard Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex, said a spokesperson.

Children as young as three can enroll in the academy’s coaching programs which will also offer a range of classes for women and men of all standards. In addition, the academy will offer training camps, exhibition matches as well as social and elite tournaments.

Patrick Talty, general manager of ZSC, said: “Zayed Sports City provides world-class facilities including rugby and football pitches, tennis courts, an athletics track, bowling centre and ice skating rink.  These new developments and partnerships add to an already impressive set of facilities, which will help people live healthier and more active lifestyles. In addition to the partnerships, ZSC has also been working on further upgrades and improvements to the facilities, including the completion of five new multi-purpose grass pitches and new amenities. These include a Pro Shop for tennis equipment, new towel and locker services, and the launch of The Clubhouse – a new on-site restaurant in addition to site-wide catering operations, he said.
