ExecuJet inks Qatar aviation partnership

ExecuJet Middle East, a global business aviation organisation, has announced a partnership with Al Faisal Holding, a leading diversified company in Qatar, to form a new business aviation company.

The new company, ExecuJet Qatar, has been established to secure an Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and provide aircraft management and charter solutions to clients in Qatar. The application process for the AOC is already underway and is expected to be in place early in 2011.

ExecuJet Qatar, will be operated by ExecuJet Middle East and is expected to create a number of new jobs in support of the AOC application process.

The new facility is still in the development stages but is expected to be established at Doha International Airport.

'ExecuJet has already established a leading global aviation business and I am delighted to be announcing this new partnership with them today,' said Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, chief of Al Faisal Holding.

'ExecuJet's current business in the region has been growing steadily for many years. What we have seen is further potential with the region and have always expressed our plans to expand our geographic footprint further within the Middle East, the opportunity for this partnership has come at the ideal time and we look forward to our future in Qatar,' added Mike Berry, managing director, ExecuJet Middle East.

ExecuJet Middle East has been operating in Dubai for over 11 years providing charter, aircraft management, maintenance, aircraft sales and FBO (fixed base operation) services.

The company recently secured land at Dubai World Central and opened a new hangar at the ExecuJet Dubai facility.-TradeArabia News Service
