Tourists urged to apply early for US visas
Manama, March 8, 2011
Bahrain residents planning to travel to the US in the summer have been advised to apply now for visas.
The US Embassy is expecting a peak application period this summer, especially in May and June. It advised travellers to plan ahead and schedule an appointment for a visa interview as early as possible.
Consul Nausher Ali said that thousands of Bahrain residents were welcomed to the US
annually for tourism, business and academic studies.
“We recommend that visitors wanting to travel to the US this summer apply early to ensure we can review applications and conduct administrative processing in a timely fashion,” he said.
For visa application, people can visit http://bahrain.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant_visas.html for the required application
forms and schedule an appointment for an interview.-TradeArabia News Service
