Dubai Airport Freezone wins HR award

Dubai Airport Freezone has won the ‘Dubai Award for Human Development’, which is organised by the Department of Economic Development (DED).

The award was given in recognition of the zone’s role in developing national human resource capital and achieving the human development objectives set forth by the DED.

“Dubai Airport Freezone’s leadership vision is to improve the national human resource potential, while supporting excellence and innovation programs that offer special services to businessmen and foreign investors,” stated Dr Mohammed Al Zarooni, director general, Dubai Airport Freezone.

“We believe that investing in human development goes beyond providing job opportunities for nationals. It is also important to ensure that strong training programs are put into place to help improve capabilities and support the UAE’s economy through innovation.”
