Gulf Craft wins Customer Recognition Award
Dubai, September 20, 2011
UK-based company CJR Propulsion has selected the UAE-based Gulf Craft as the winner of its first annual ‘Customer Recognition Award'.
The award is designed to acknowledge the CJR partner who has a noticeable impact on technological development and shows strong sales growth within the marine industry, a statement from the company said.
The award, given by CJR’s managing director Mark Russell, considered three key criteria in its decision: environmental sustainability, technical innovation, and sales growth.
Gulf Craft, one of the world leading manufacturers of luxury yachts, and CJR Propulsion, which combines decades of experience with modern technology and engineering to produce propeller and stern gear systems for yachts of all sizes, have been working together for nearly 10 years, it stated.
This relationship has been strengthened through Gulf Craft’s specific custom projects where CJR has been involved in bespoke engine drive solutions.
These projects include the recently completed new concept Gulf 95 Exp which now features CJR’s Veem star propellers, the statement said.
"Gulf Craft is amongst those leading the market in creating business value through new technology implementations and a strong market presence," commented Russell.
"It is an excellent example of an organisation working in a challenging environment, yet using its own in-house technical development, combined with the early adoption of external suppliers and extensive R&D, is having a tangible impact on the business. Through openness, innovation and creative execution, Gulf Craft lead the field in driving the marine market forward and positively impact buyer’s perceptions," he said. - TradeArabia News Service
