RAK Airways marks anniversary with seat sale
Ras Al Khaimah, October 9, 2011
Ras Al Khaimah-based RAK Airways is celebrating the first anniversary of its re-launch tomorrow (October 10) with a special seat sale promotion.
A limited number of tickets at Dh1 ($0.27) to all RAK Airways destinations will be on offer on Monday October 10, to mark RAK Airways’ first anniversary.
“Over the last twelve months, RAK Airways has enjoyed considerable success, due to the support of its loyal customers. We very much wanted to share our success with them and our AED1 special fare promotion is our way of saying thank you,” said Omar Jahameh, RAK Airways CEO.
The promotional fare will be available for booking from midnight on October 9 to midnight on October 10 and will be valid for travel from October 10 to March 28, 2012.
Jahameh said that load factors averaged around the 80 per cent mark for the majority of flights throughout the first year of the airline’s re-launch.
“Such high demand confirms that we are consistently delivering what our passengers want – small fares and big deals,” said Jahameh.
“This is an important milestone in the making of our history, and a major stepping stone to more exciting developments – including new routes - which we will be announcing very soon. We are confident our first year anniversary marks the beginning of the airline’s continued, long-term success which will also see us play a pivotal role in the development of Ras Al Khaimah as a major, global tourist destination.”
Included in the Dh1 fare – like all flights - is a full hot meal and beverages served free on-board all flights, along with a baggage allowance of 30kg per passenger in addition to the normal hand baggage allowance. – TradeArabia News Service
