Mövenpick opens resort in Saudi
Dubai , November 23, 2011
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has announced the official opening of Beach Resort Al Khobar, its ninth hotel in Saudi Arabia.
The hotel is just 45 minutes from Dammam International Airport and only 25 minutes away from the five-star shopping outlets and entertainment options of Al Khobar and the King Fahad Causeway to Bahrain.
The resort offers 36 three-bedroom duplex villas – including two Royal Villas each with a spacious majlis – two restaurants, a spa and fitness centre, free-form swimming pool, a fun kids club, lush landscaping and spectacular private beach.
“This resort is truly unique and perfect for families that enjoy holidays in an exclusive, relaxed environment,” said Markus Marti, general manager of the new property.
“There is nothing like this resort in the entire eastern province. Everything has been designed to the highest possible standards offering a seaside experience that is exceptional and comforting,” he remarked.
According to him, the design of the villas illustrates this philosophy perfectly.
'With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, service quarters as well as spacious dining and living areas, each duplex is the epitome of contemporary comfort with a relaxed Mediterranean feel.'
'Guests will find it difficult to leave the family-focused attractions of the resort,' he added.
The Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar builds on the strong profile of the upscale international hotel company in the Kingdom.
“Mövenpick has quickly established a very positive reputation in Saudi,” said Turki Al-Mohaisen, representative of property owner Eastern Rehab Company for Tourism Investment.
“This is a country that has always appreciated the importance of hospitality and we recognise in Mövenpick a partner that celebrates the Swiss values of quality, reliability and care that every Saudi guest appreciates,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
