Hilton appoints new Jordan country manager

Dubai, September 15, 2013

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Kamel Ajami as the company’s first country manager for Jordan.

Ajami brings over three decades of experience to the newly created role, the most senior for Hilton Worldwide in Jordan.  He will oversee all operational matters and support the company’s growth plans in exploring new opportunities in the country.  

Christian Muhr, vice president, Operations for Egypt and Levant, said: “With a growing presence and profile in Jordan, the country is a key market for Hilton Worldwide’s Middle East and Africa region.  Kamel’s experience and knowledge will be invaluable in this new leadership role as we continue to set standards in operational excellence and quality service.”   

Hilton Worldwide operates two properties in Jordan – King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre by Hilton at the Dead Sea and Double Tree by Hilton Aqaba - with a further three hotels in the pipeline. - TradeArabia News Service
