Ritz-Carlton Bahrain unveils new facilities

Manama, November 17, 2013

The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa has revealed its new restaurants and leisure facilities, implemented to enhance guest experience with its new look.

After an intense renovation over the past 12 months, the property offers a brand new look of its diverse array of innovative restaurant and dining venues and the extensive pool area, setting new standards in design while inspiring the trendy lifestyle of today’s affluent traveller, said a statement.

Changes made to upgrade leisure and entertainment facilities include an added infinity pool, two outdoor Jacuzzis, a Thai lounge and chill-out sunbeds as well as a Ritz Gourmet Lounge.

Primavera, the Italian signature restaurant situated on the first floor of  the hotel, has been redesigned featuring a contemporary ambience with an open show kitchen and a new outdoor terrace surrounded by sweeping palm trees offering views of the gardens.

The Ritz Gourmet Lounge is inspired with its interior design and menu by the golden age of the Belle Epoque, a period in French history which started around 1890 and ended in 1914.

The lounge offers traditional French dishes alongside homemade pastries, cakes, breads, Arabic sweets and chocolates. It also has a new shisha terrace lounge, ideal for afternoon gatherings and family reunions.

A culinary journey to the East and West can be enjoyed at Thai and Overlook while relaxing by the waterfront. With the creation of Thai, the hotel welcomes a new sanctuary for mingling and chill-out evenings.

This vibrant venue offers exotic flairs, creative food and beverages paired with exceptional views across the lagoon, the garden and Manama Skylines. Thai is situated opposite the poolside and Overlook, between the outdoor pool and the beach, with a plunge pool and sun decks slightly above the water. It features live DJ entertainment.

The popular Overlook, an upscale poolside restaurant, sets the scene for interactive outdoor dining. The new style reflects the dining creativity the affluent traveller and guest of today is looking for. With its wide selection of food stations such as oven baked pizza, BBQ, healthy salad bar and ice cream counter it offers something for everyone.

Overlook is divided into several sitting areas between the outdoor pool and the beach and provides open space pavilion seating in bright, white hues with shady areas, ensuring that dining pleasures are guaranteed all year round.

To celebrate the season, Thai and Overlook are now open weekdays for outside guests from 12 noon onwards. - TradeArabia News Service
