Gulf Air marks 1m Beirut passengers

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, today (December 11) celebrated carrying one million passengers from/to Beirut in Lebanon.

The one millionth lucky passenger Natasha Younes was presented with two complimentary tickets, in celebration of this significant milestone.

Handing over the tickets to Younes, in Beirut International Airport, Gulf Air’s country manager for Amman and Beirut, Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon said: "We are thrilled to be celebrating our one millionth passenger milestone in Beirut. Gulf Air’s relationship with the Lebanese capital dates back to 1974 when the airline first launched operations to Beirut.”

“Furthermore, the country’s capital remains a strategic route and key market for the airline today. Gulf Air currently operates seven weekly flights between Beirut and Bahrain providing excellent connectivity via Bahrain to strategic destinations in the Gulf, the Indian sub-continent and the Far East such as Dubai, Manila, Bangkok and Delhi in less than two hours.
