Turkish Airlines boosts Africa network

Turkish Airlines has expanded its African network to include Kano (Nigeria) and N’djamena (Chad).

Kano will be the second desitination in Nigeria, with the airlines already operating to Lagos, said the airline in a statement.

The carrier will operate four flights a week to Kano and N’djamena, it stated.

The Turkish carrier has launched introductory offers from Istanbul to Kano and N’djamena at 499 Euros ($687) and 549 Euros (including taxes and fees) respectively, said the statement.

Additionally, for the first six months of service to the new destinations,  Miles&Smiles members are being offered a 25 per cent reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
