Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh has won the “Luxury Design Hotel” award in the country winner category at the World Luxury Hotel Awards recently held Thailand.

The awards account for 50 categories in the luxury hotel industry and winners are judged on service delivery and effective management, said a statement.

The winners are voted for by international tour operators, travel agents and hotel guests, making the process objective and unbiased, it said.

The hotel underwent a complete renovation over a period of several months, executed by British architectural and interiors firm GA Design.

The renovation features new jewel-toned design schemes in all the hotel room and suite offerings, besides structural and aesthetic changes in public areas such as the hotel entrance, reception, lobby lounge, guestroom corridors and floor lobbies, in addition to the refurbished restaurants ‘Elements’, ‘Rosso’ and ‘The Grill.’
