Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) has welcomed another first time visitor at Zayed Port, the MV Adonia.

The cruise ship arrived in Abu Dhabi today (January 29).  It is the sixth of 10 scheduled maiden calls in the present cruise season which celebrates a record number of first-time cruise visitors to Abu Dhabi.

During an official welcome ceremony Captain Jaber Al Shehhi, ADPC’s Western Region harbor master, congratulated Captain David Box and his crew and handed over a commemorative plaque.   
The MV Adonia, which belongs to the P&O Cruises fleet, has a capacity for 1,083 passengers and crew members.

 “Adonia’s Asian Grand Adventure 2014” is the title of the ship’s current world tour which kicked off on January 7 in Southampton and covers 44 ports in 27 countries. – TradeArabia News Service
