A Ural Airlines stewardess fell out of an aircraft onto the runway at an airport in Dubai on Monday after a catering truck smashed into the plane, a report said.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she underwent an operation, said the eTN quoting an Interfax report.

An airline spokesman told Interfax that the damage to the Airbus A321 was "significant" and that passengers were transferred to a reserve aircraft. The flight from Dubai to Perm has been delayed by nearly 12 hours.
